A new report claiming Jamie Foxx plans to rent out Disneyland for an after-hours date with Katie Holmes is completely fabricated. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.
According to In Touch, the actor was caught flirting with other women behind Holmes’ back at a Fourth of July party, so he’s now attempting to make amends by closing down an entire theme park for just the two of them. A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “Jamie is hoping this grand gesture will help Katie to forgive him. Jamie used to be discreet about his flirting, but seems to have let his guard down recently.”
The magazine’s seemingly phony source goes on to say Foxx wants to prove he’s committed to the actress, and he’s prepared to shell out a fortune to do so. “Jamie was told it would cost $500,000 to rent out the park, but that doesn’t bother him,” says the supposed insider. “He’s determined to give her a magical night.”
The dubious source goes on to say Foxx is secretly renting out the theme park because he wants to keep the date confidential and “doesn’t want any prying eyes.” Of course, it would still require a large staff to operate the massive amusement park after closing, so this contention makes very little sense. Regardless, when Gossip Cop asked Foxx’s rep about his supposed plans to rent out Disneyland, we were exclusively told the claim is “completely false.”
Of course, In Touch has proven very unreliable when it comes to accurately reporting about the pair. Gossip Cop recently called out the tabloid when it falsely alleged Foxx treats Holmes like a “booty call.” We also debunked the outlet’s phony cover story about Holmes and Foxx’s (nonexistent) marriage plans being ruined by the actress’s (nonexistent) custody battle with Tom Cruise. This latest article is equally bogus.
